Jim Robbie and the Wanderers
Jim Robbie and the Wanderers is a sunny post-apocalyptic road trip. Jim Robbie, his creator Tango, and their cadre of friends and musicians travel around a strange and new United States that resulted from an unknown disaster. As they travel they encounter vampires, magicians, shrimp cults, mad scientists, and many other zany and unique denizens.
The show plays with locational and cultural history and urban mythology to populate to world. Themes often addressed include those of mental illness and coping, friendship, queer existence, and cultural change and impact. The show balances levity and joviality with serious lessons. It is family friendly.
